BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - A new wedding and corporate retreat venue, Fora Event Venue, is located along John Rogers Parkway in Birmingham, next to Guiding Light Church.
The venue has three separate spaces within one location.
The Ivory Ceremonial Space is for ceremonies and holds up to 220 people.
The Grandeur is a multipurpose reception space with soaring ceilings and an open, versatile layout. The Grandeur ballroom serves as the heart of the reception and holds up to 275 people.
The Arbor is an outdoor space with seating for up to 150 people.

The groom’s suite has a locker room setting with seating and a safe at each locker. The bride’s suite is pink and has chairs and sofas for makeup. It also has a private makeup room for the bride.
Owner Fred Chatman said the business chose the location because, after research, it did not find that type of venue in the area.
