Alicia Richards, director of community events and partnerships for Visit Tuscaloosa, said the event will continue even if there is rain.
“We are full steam ahead. It is a rain or shine event. We will also have our large tent right down the middle of the plaza. If we do get a little bit of rain we can shelter in there. Of course, if we start to increase to anything that’s unsafe, we’ll go ahead and pause for a few minutes and have folks take shelter. But we are full rain or shine and we’re ready to go,” Richards said.
