BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Birmingham’s Brenda’s Brown Bosom Buddies Sistah Strut is marking its 15th anniversary with a morning of movement, community and life-saving resources.
The 3K walk is set for Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Legion Field. Proceeds benefit Brenda’s Brown Bosom Buddies, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting women with breast cancer while connecting them to resources, including access to mammograms.
WBRC 6 News anchor Sarah Verser will once again serve as the event’s emcee. Organizers say participants can expect a fun, uplifting atmosphere and the chance to make meaningful connections that help strengthen the fight against breast cancer in our community.
