BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - The 2026 Nick Saban Legacy Awards, presented by WBRC 6 News and Quarterbacking Children’s Health Foundation, will take place Sunday, Aug. 24 at 6 p.m.
This special event will honor Coach Mack Brown and the late Coach Lou Holtz, celebrating their lasting impact on college football and the lives they influenced far beyond the field.
Coach Mack Brown, who is a longtime leader in college football, spent decades as a head coach with stops including Texas and North Carolina, earning national Coach of the Year honors and building one of the winningest resumes in FBS history.
Coach Lou Holtz is best known for his time at Notre Dame, where he led the Fighting Irish to the 1988 National Championship, later earning induction into the College Football Hall of Fame and receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Nick and Terry Saban will serve as guests of honor, with Lauren Sisler and Rick Neuheisel hosting the evening.
