Producers looking for extras for movie being filmed in Anniston later this month

Filming will take place July 28 through Aug. 8

JACKSONVILLE, Ala. (WBRC) - The Jacksonville State University Department of Theatre and Film is looking for extras for a feature film shooting in Anniston.

The production is looking to fill multiple roles for a film titled “Model Citizen.”

The movie, according to a synopsis released by the Theatre and Film Department, is about three inmates looking for appeals.

In a near-future America, death row appeals ahve been transformed into Public Appeal, a live-streamed clemency competition where three inmates must win public sympathy to survive. Inside Fort McAdams, justice, entertainment, and survival collide.

Producers are looking for featured extras to play merchandise vendors, Public Appeal audience members and protestors.
