BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - The Birmingham Zoo will celebrate America’s 250th birthday with Red, White and Zoo, giving free admission to the nation’s heroes.
From 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on July 4, all active military, veterans and their dependents will be given free admission to the Birmingham Zoo with proof of valid military identification.
In addition to the zoo’s seasonal favorite and special attractions, animal encounters and keeper chats are scheduled throughout the day on July 4 and the summer season.
