BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - The Birmingham Barons are offering free general admission to select home games for anyone holding a ticket to the postponed Rock the South country music festival this weekend.
As part of a limited-time “We Still Plan To Play” relief initiative, Rock the South ticketholders may redeem their festival ticket for free general admission to any Barons home game June 11-14 at Regions Field.
In a statement, the Barons said the grounds crew is monitoring conditions and is prepared for weather, adding that the team remains “committed to being here for you.” The Barons also touted pregame live music, $2.75 beers on Thursday and Friday, and fireworks, and said the club is “prepared to play country music upon request.”
“We understand plans changed,” the team said. “We simply suggest upgrading them.”
