BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Sony is citing “ongoing market conditions” as the reason it is raising the price of PlayStation Plus.
In an announcement made on X, PlayStation said the cost of the subscription service will be going up across multiple markets, including in the US.
A one-month subscription will go up $1 to $10.99 per month while a three-month subscription will be increase $3 to $27.99.
The change will not affect current subscribers whose prices will remain the same as long as their current subscription is not changed nor is allowed to lapse.
The change comes weeks after Xbox CEO Asha Sharma announced the cost of Game Pass Ultimate would be going down, albeit while removing Call of Duty from the day one release schedule.
