BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Zoo Brews returns to the Birmingham Zoo on Friday, May 29 from 6–9 p.m., serving up the perfect mix of craft beer, after-hours adventure, and up-close animal encounters.
Stroll the zoo with a souvenir stein in hand while you sample 25+ craft beers from across Alabama and the Southeast, challenge friends to lawn games, hop aboard the Red Diamond Express train, come face-to-face with life-size automated dinosaurs, and even stop to see the animals and chat with the zookeepers.

This is a 21+ only event. No children are allowed, and ID is required for entry.
Each sample costs one penny, per ABC regulations. Drop a penny in the vendor bucket to receive your sample. Booths at each station can cash larger coins for pennies. The best part is, all pennies donated go towards the Zoo’s Animal Fund.

General admission includes a souvenir beer stein; designated driver tickets are available at a cheaper rate and include a souvenir soda cup. All tickets include one small snack item.
