Tuscaloosa Farmer’s Market to host first Strawberry Fest

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WBRC) - Temperatures are continuing to warm up, spring has sprung and it’s time for the Strawberry Fest in Tuscaloosa!

The City of Tuscaloosa Farmer’s Market will host the inaugural Strawberry Fest on Tuesday, April 21 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Tuscaloosa River Market.

“This special event similar to the weekly Saturday market will celebrate strawberry season and our strawberry farmer’s harvest! Other vendors will be present with a variety of strawberry-themed baked and homemade goods,” wrote the city of Tuscaloosa.

  • Appearances from the Strawberry mascot
  • Stephanie Woodruff: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
