BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - There’s a new reason to make a lunch run in the neighborhood.
All About Sandwiches is now open in Birmingham’s Woodlawn community, just across from the SaveALot, bringing a new business to the community at 5422 1st Ave North in Birmingham.
The story behind All About Sandwiches starts with its owner, Curtis Williams.
Williams is a master woodcraftsman contractor — someone known for building and creating with his hands. But outside of work, he’s also someone who loves to cook.
That love didn’t stay in his kitchen for long.

Williams says one of his clients kept tasting his food and finally told him: “You need to open up a restaurant.”
That single push—simple, direct, and confident—became the spark.
That’s how All About Sandwiches came to be.

All About Sandwiches is open:
- Tuesday through Friday: 10:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
