BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Right in front of Glen Iris School in Birmingham is a new brick-and-mortar store for a 10-year-old company that is as sweet as pecan pie.
Edolyn’s Pies comes from a lineage of love that includes a family recipe perfected and passed down three generations.
Marquon Brown, the owner of Edolyn’s Pies, says they started off small at farmers markets.
“Every time we went, we were selling out,” Brown said. “So we had the opportunity to go to Brookwood Mall and now we’re right here on the South Side.”
At Edolyn’s, they hand make every pie because it’s what they love to do. Without a doubt, that’s why their pies are so unique.

“We make everything from scratch, even with our crust,” Brown said. “We make our own crust in-house, and that’s one of the things that people like about our products, that we make everything from scratch, and especially our cakes as well.”
With cakes and pies in flavors such as Sweet Potato, Lemon Chess, Blueberry Lemon Chess, Brownie, German Chocolate Cake, Red Velvet Cake and more, Brown knows you’ll find something you’ll love.
“We’ve got some phenomenal products, and we would love for everybody in Birmingham to just come and see what your taste buds are going to tell you.,” he said.
