BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - A new report suggests fans may not be getting new trailers for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” or “Avengers: Doomsday” during this year’s Super Bowl.
Deadline, while previewing which movies are likely to drop new previews during the biggest advertising day or the year, says Marvel is skipping Super Bowl LX.
If that report proves true, it would break trend for Marvel. Last year they dropped a new trailer for “The Thunderbolts*” while, in 2024, they gave fans their first look at “Wolverine & Deadpool.”
Marvel Studios has two massive releases this year.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day releases in theaters on July 31. Marvel and Sony have not released any previews for the fourth film to star Tom Holland in the title role.

Marvel Studios has already begun their marketing campaign for the fifth installment in the Avengers series, “Avengers: Doomsday.”
Multiple character-focused teaser trailers were released beginning in late December, starting with Marvel announcing the return of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers.
Deadline also reports that Warner Bros. will also forego Super Bowl advertising, which would mean no new look at DC’s “Supergirl.”
The first trailer for “Supergirl” starring Milly Alcock was dropped back in December.
