BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - If you’ve for some reason been waiting to jump on the PlayStation train with a PS5, Sony’s announced Black Friday deals could mean now is the perfect time to do so.
Sony announced the company’s planned sales for this year’s holiday shopping season Tuesday, leading off with a $100 discount on the PS5 console.
The PS5 Digital Edition 825GB and PS5 1TB Fortnite Flowering Chaos bundles are getting cut to $399.99 for the digital console and $499.99 for the 1TB edition.
The PS5 Pro is also getting a $100 discount.
Sony knows that you’ll need plenty of accessories to go with that brand new consoler, so there are plenty of discounts to go around.

The DualSense wireless controller is getting cut by $20 and the DualSense Edge controller will be $30 off retail.
The PlayStation VR2 will be a full $100 off, along with other discounts for headsets, earbuds and more.
Sony will again offer deals on hundreds of PS5 and PS4 digital games, up to 75% off on the PlayStation Store beginning on Nov. 21.
PlayStation Plus members will get a 33% discount when they upgrade from Essential/Extra to Premium/Deluxe. New subscribers can save up to 33% when they sign up for a 21-month subscription to PlayStation Plus.
