BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - What’s a better use of those holiday leftovers than a thick-sliced turkey sandwich the day after Thanksgiving?
Putting leftover turkey gravy on that sandwich, of course!
For the first time ever, Heinz is is making it easier to re-use their Homestyle Turkey Gravy to make the perfect condiment for a leftover sandwich.
While supplies last, fans of the holiday staple can order a special edition Leftover Gravy Kit from Walmart.com. It includes a 12oz jar of Heinz Turkey Gravy and a squeezable bottle perfect to put that leftover gravy into.
The idea for Heinz Leftover Gravy is inspired by the Moist Maker from TV’s Friends, with Heinz saying the gravy is the key ingredient to a leftover sandwich.

Jamie Mack, the Associate Director of Brand Communications for Heinz U.S., said the company wanted to focus on the day-after ritual of Thanksgiving.
“A social media favorite among millennial sitcom-lovers, the Moist Maker epitomized an obsession with holiday food crafted with care and detail,” Mack said. “Now, HEINZ is celebrating the fans who share an irrational love of the nostalgic sandwich by providing the key to a delicious day-after sandwich: HEINZ Leftover Gravy.”
