BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Now may be the time to see what’s laying around your home as nearly anything will get you store credit at GameStop during their next big event.
GameStop, the company often criticized by fans for the amount they offer for video game trade-ins, is advertising Saturday, Dec. 6 as Trade Anything Day.
Gamers are urged to “Bring whatever, get store credit.”
Well, it’s not quite anything. There’s a hefty list of exclusions, including hazardous materials, weapons or ammo, VCRs, DVD players and animals, dead or alive. Taxidermy is totally acceptable for store credit, though.
The advertisement seen on the company’s website says items must fit inside their 20x20x20 measuring box.

Keep in mind that GameStop employees have the discretion to reject any item.
The event comes after GameStop had a successful Switch 2 launch event and right as the holiday shopping season prepares to kick off.
