CHELSEA, Ala. (WBRC) - A popular chicken restaurant is under construction in Chelsea.
Chick-fil-A is bringing their famous chicken sandwiches to Chelsea Plaza, the 13.34-acre mix-use development on Highway 280.
The Birmingham Business Journal says Chick-fil-A will help anchor the project which will include 16 units of restaurant and retail space.
As part of the project, new roads will be built and a traffic light installed to help accommodate the new traffic flow for the property.
Chick-fil-A is expected to be in operation in 2028.
