The 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie turned 35 this year and to celebrate, the classic blockbuster is returning to theaters beginning Friday, Aug. 15.
That’s right. Grab your favorite slice of pizza because the original live-action Heroes in a Half-shell are hitting the big screen one more time.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, featuring four crime-fighting turtles and their rat-turned-sensei Splinter, was released on March 30, 1990 and grossed $202 million on its way to becoming the highest grossing independent film up to that point.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will playing in select theaters for seven days from Aug. 15-21.
