BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Birmingham Police were on the scene of a water gun fight that turned into an all-out water war, according to a post on social media.
Birmingham officer Schramm was the first on the scene where she was met with a simple question.
“Will you play water guns with us?”
Being significantly outnumbered, officer Schramm told the children she’d be back with backup.
Officers returned to the scene ready for the task at hand and ready to return “fire” with balloons and water guns!

“Just another reminder that building trust starts with moments like these,” Birmingham Police said on social media.
