BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Hannah Kuykendall has the perfect solution to stay cool this summer. She’s taking on a performance of the Red Mountain Theatre’s production of Disney’s Frozen.

The Hoover High School graduate is one of 31 cast members taking part in the production, all of which are local to the Birmingham-metro area.

Kuykendall is heavily involved in the production and wears many hats, including being the understudy for the role of Anna, dance captain, and a member of the ensemble.

“This has just been incredibly challenging and yet totally fulfilling,” said Kuykendall. “In the 20 years I have been in theatre, this has been the one show that has tested me the most and I cannot wait for the audience to see all of our hard work.”

The opening day of Frozen is scheduled for May 30 and runs through June 29 at Birmingham’s Red Mountain Theatre. It includes 36 performances in all, including a sensory friendly performance Tuesday June 3.
