Taste of 4th brings ‘Taste of Music in Communities’ to Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Get jazzed up and join Taste of 4th, Inc. for the first ever Taste of Music in Communities series. This five Sunday event features local vendors and live jazz music bringing the community together to support local artists and businesses.

TASTE OF 4TH INC. PRESENTS: TASTE OF MUSIC IN COMMUNITIES (Urban Impact, Inc.)

Each event will feature live music, food trucks, merchandise, vendors and a space for community celebration. Each event is free to the public and scheduled for 6 until 8 p.m. The event kicks off on April 13 at Arthur Shores Park, followed by May 18 Avondale Park, June 29 at Kelly Ingram Park, July 13 at Pratt City Park, and August 17 at Arlington Historic House & Gardens.

For over two decades, the Taste of 4th Avenue Jazz Festival has celebrated Black culture and the history of jazz, but Taste of Music in Communities future expands that mission by bringing live jazz music directly to the community. The 22nd Annual Taste of 4th Avenue Jazz Festival will return to the Historic 4th Avenue Black Business District on August 23, 2025.
