ORLANDO, Fla. (WBRC) - There’s just something about taking bite into a long overdue lunch inside a theme park after a day of fun and thrills.

When Universal Orland Resort opens Epic Universe in just a few short months, there will be no shortage of food to delight the taste buds as guests explore the new park’s five unique worlds.

“Known for consistently raising the bar, Universal Orlando’s award-winning culinary team has reached epic heights with the development of more than 100 creative new menu items that add yet another layer of immersion for guests to enjoy across the five imaginative worlds that make up the all-new theme park,” Universal said in a press release Tuesday, adding that Epic Universe will offer a wide range of menu items across 30 locations.

Guests can take on Bowser's Fireball Challenge featuring a towering one-pound meatball topped with gooey mozzarella cheese in rich mushroom marinara sauce and fresh parsley served with a Bowser-inspired puff pastry and a side of hot sauce at Super Nintendo World. (Universal Orlando Resort)

Each of the park’s five worlds - Celestial Park, Ministry of Magic based on the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Super Nintendo World, Isle of Berk based on How To Train Your Dragon, and Dark Universe - will feature restaurants and menu items themed to the area in which they reside.

Super Nintendo World, dedicated to the colorful world of The Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, and more, is where guests can find the Mario Burger, the Luigi Burger, Yoshi’s Smoothie, or even step up to Bowser’s Fireball Challenge.

Dark Universe, a world dedicated to the legacy of horror, is where visitors can scare their taste buds with a “Blood” Orange Chicken Sandwich or Hunter’s Garlic Stake.

After working up an appetite on the Isle of Berk, guests can head over to Mead Hall and “feast like a Viking” with the Thawfest Platter.

No matter the craving, Epic Universe promises to have something for everyone when they open May 22, 2025 just a few miles from the existing Universal Orlando parks.
