NEW YORK, NY. (WBRC) - “The Wiseman” himself stood in the ring during WWE Raw on Netflix Monday and announced that the cover athlete for this year’s annual WWE video game will be none other than the Tribal Chief himself.
Nearly one year removed from the end of Reigns' historic 1,316-day reign as champion, the OTC is once again at the top of WWE programming and headed to the Royal Rumble.
Reigns will be featured on two of the three editions of the game - the standard edition and The Bloodline Edition.
“I am personally and professionally excited that the Original and Only Tribal Chief and the extended Anoa’i family are the focus of WWE 2K25,” Reigns said. “We’ve been building toward this moment for generations and I challenge players everywhere to show me and my Wiseman, Paul Heyman, what they’ve got, and prove they’re worthy of the attention of their Tribal Chief.”
The Bloodline Edition features members of both iterations of WWE’s top stable, including Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sami Zayn, Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatue, Tonga Loa, and Tama Tanga.

The third option will feature WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker in The Deadman Edition.
Following the theme of the Bloodline, WWE 2K25’s Showcase Mode will follow the story of the Bloodline saga and an overall celebration of the Anoa’i wrestling family.
New to this year’s edition on is The Island, available only on Xbox Series S|X and PlayStation 5.
2k Studios described The Island as “an interactive, online WWE-themed world that provides an immersive experience allowing players the option of focusing on a single-player experience, with the ultimate goal of earning a position in The Bloodline, or interacting and competing with other players they encounter.”
New match types this year include Underground match, Bloodline Rules match, and the return of intergender matches.

WWE 2K25 will be released in March and will cost $69.99 for the standard edition, $99.99 for The Deadman Edition, and $129.99 for The Bloodline Edition.
