The 2024 Holiday Film Series at the Alabama Theatre begins Dec. 13. Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster.

Mistletoe on Main

A family-friendly holiday event is returning to downtown Leeds on Dec. 13 from 4-7 p.m.

The multi-platinum rock group will return to Legacy Arena at the BJCC on Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. as part of their winter tour.

6th Annual Holly Jolly Market

Head to the Moody Civic Center on Dec. 14 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. for the free event. Bonus! Santa will arrive at 11 a.m. and stay until around 2 p.m.

Christmas on the Coosa (Greater Gadsden Area Tourism)

The ice-skating rink in Gadsden is now open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. until Dec. 19. The ice-skating rink is located at 344 South First Street in Gadsden near Moragne Park.

Adamsville Christmas Parade

Headed to Main Street on Dec. 14 is the Adamsville Christmas Parade. The free event starts at City Hall at 6 p.m. before traveling to Main Street Plaza.

There are tons of places to see the Christmas lights in our area, but you can also cruise local neighborhoods for free to see light displays put together by residents in our community.

Homewood Christmas Parade

The city of Homewood hosts their Annual Christmas Parade on Dec. 10 starting at 6:30 p.m. The parade starts at Homewood Public Library and travels east on Oxmoor Road.

The Nutcracker

Alabama Ballet presents The Nutcracker starting Friday, Dec. 13-23. The event will be hosted at the BJCC Concert Hall, and tickets can be purchased now right here.

Opera Birmingham Sounds of the Season

On Sunday, Dec. 15, Opera Birmingham brings the Sounds of the Season to Brock Recital Hall at Samford University. This family-friendly event is a true gift this holiday season.

Chelsea Christmas Parade

Starting at 10 a.m. on Dec. 21, head to Chelsea for their annual Christmas parade. The parade line-up starts at Chelsea Middle School and ends at Winn-Dixie.

The Pell City Center for Education and the Performing Arts bring the sounds of classic country legends to life for this one-night show. Pell City Christmas Parade

On Friday, Dec. 13, Pell City hosts their annual parade downtown. This year’s theme is “12 Days of Christmas” which includes lights, pageantry and the spirit of Christmas.
