Six Flags Over Georgia to kick off 10th annual Holiday in the Park this week

AUSTELL, Ga. (WBRC) - Theme park goers in the southeast are about to get a major dose of the holiday spirit.

Six Flags Over Georgia (SFOG) is getting set celebrate its 10th year of Holiday in the Park, with events kicking off Sat., Nov. 23 and running on select dates through Jan. 5, 2025.

“Over the past decade, Holiday in the Park has become a beloved tradition for families across the southeast,” said Greg Fuller, Six Flags Over Georgia General Manager.

SFOG promises that this year will feature four new live shows, more holiday-themed food, and “an immersive North Pole experience for families.”

"This year, we’re setting the stage for an even more magical experience, featuring breathtaking entertainment, vibrant light displays and immersive holiday adventures," Fuller said.

The four new shows - The Six Flags Holiday Spectacular, A Merry Monster Holiday Puppet Show, The Grand Fir Tree Lighting Celebration, and Six Drummers Drumming - will be joined by guest favorites such as the Bad Bob Humbug comedy show, Storytime on the Holiday Express, and Six Flags Carolers.

Guests will be able to visit Santa’s Workshop at the North Pole Experience where elves will lead guests though interactive games, arts and crafts, and more.

There’s even a chance to meet Santa himself!

The every day thrills and fun of Six Flags will still be there as more than 30 of the park’s rides will operate throughout Holiday in the Park.

“This tenth-anniversary celebration is a testament to the lasting magic of Holiday in the Park, and we look forward to creating even more cherished memories with our guests.”
