Popeyes Fish Sandwich
Popeyes made headlines last year when it launched a new Popeyes’ chicken sandwich. Fast forward six months, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen chain announced it was launching a new fish sandwich. On Thursday, Popeyes Cajun Flounder Sandwich made its debut at restaurants nationwide.
The fried flaky flounder served on a brioche bun with pickles will be available for a limited time for $4.49. It is a good alternative for those avoiding meat through the Lent season.
How Did the Idea Come About?
Popeyes tested the new item in Chicago last year and got overwhelmingly positive reviews. If the fish sandwich is successful, Popeyes might add it to the menu permanently.
