The 1st annual BirmingFAM Festival will be a two-day community festival on April 10 & 11, 2021 hosted at TrimTab Brewing Co. A limited release of 1,000 tickets will be available at BirmingFamFest.com on Friday, July 31 at 10 am CST. $10 from every purchase during the presale will be donated to Pay It Forward Alabama, a recently formed initiative aimed at raising and delivering funds to local Alabama organizations most in need.
BirmingFAM celebrates community
The BirmingFAM Festival is a celebration of the Birmingham community, benefiting Pay It Forward Alabama. TrimTab Brewing has secured the adjacent open grass area to host local food, local merchants, live music, yard games, an outdoor beer garden, morning yoga, and much more.

COVID-19 & Social Distancing:
While the event is not until April 2021, spectator safety is of utmost importance. The event team will be constantly monitoring ticket sales and capping at a safe, socially distant capacity. Additionally, TrimTab will be using a cashless payment system for beer sales and will encourage all vendors on-site to do the same. Extra restrooms, hand washing stations, and hand sanitizer stations will be distributed throughout the venue. Finally, the team will be monitoring CDC and local government guidelines regarding face masks and other recommendations. In case of event cancellation due to COVID-19, all tickets can be refunded (with the exception of the $10 per ticket that is donated to Pay It Forward Alabama) or donated to charity in your name.
More About Pay It Forward Alabama:
Pay It Forward Alabama was founded in 2020 by Birmingham entrepreneur Brandon Stewart in the wake of the catastrophic COVID-19 crisis. Stewart, a local Jimmy John’s franchisee and COO of Kensington Hill Capital, saw that members of his community were in need of special assistance and developed the Pay It Forward Alabama initiative, in partnership with the Phoenix Club of Birmingham, to raise money and provide meals for healthcare workers in Alabama communities. Stewart started the campaign as a way to donate boxed Jimmy John’s lunches to area hospitals, as well as offer healthcare workers who come into the restaurant a full boxed lunch at cost, just six dollars. Since its inception, the organization has expanded its focus to help different members of the community as needed, including raising funds for the Birmingham Zoo and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Alabama. Pay It Forward Alabama continues to raise funds for healthcare workers and beyond, raising more than $10,000 to date, and has fed over 1,500 medical personnel in just a few months of operating. Through Pay It Forward Alabama, Stewart is also able to offer a free lunch to any child who comes into select Jimmy John’s locations in Birmingham during the current crisis.
